Qualitative research has largely moved online in light the pandemic, and though gathering respondents in video conferences has been an option for a while now, COVID definitely accelerated the evolution. We’ve been checking in with our friend and trusted research partner Vivian Harris at VMHQ Research during this time, and realized we’ve shared a lot of the same experiences and observations doing qualitative research online. We agreed it could be good to share some of our experiences with you and outline what we see as best practices for remote synchronous qualitative research that we’ve developed together over the past couple of months.
